National Thinking of You Week is an exciting new initiative by the Australian Greeting Card Association to remind Australians of the power and value of greeting cards…and to help YOU drive more sales for your business!

National Thinking of You Week will promote the impact, importance and lasting value of written greetings to express feelings, share emotions and connect with those we care about the most.

We aim to create a ‘wave of love, caring and happiness’ across the nation during the third week of June 2015 by encouraging people to buy and send greeting cards to their friends, family and loved ones.

This will help support businesses like yours by driving store traffic and sales of greeting cards, not only during the week but throughout the post-promotional period.

With the enthusiastic support of the Australian Newsagents Federation & Australia Post, we are encouraging all greeting card retailers to support this event – and that includes YOU.

There are many ways you can use this campaign to drive traffic and sales at your store. We’d encourage you to organise events and promotions in your local community and promote your involvement through local media.

We have created a special range of support materials in the National Thinking of You Week tool kit. This is available to you right now at www.agca.org.au and includes POS and in-store promotional materials, ideas for events and activities to help you drive traffic and sales, and resources to help you promote your involvement locally.

The AGCA will run a PR campaign through our partners and media contacts, but to get the most value for your business you need to drive it at your local level. Good luck and enjoy the week!
